Which cleaning do you need?
Empty apartment cleaning usually comes in 3 forms. In every case the whole apartment is cleaned from top to bottom, but there are some differences depending on how the home was used.
- The grease on cupboards and around the cooker hood and oven left by the previous occupant is removed with degreaser.
- Mould and limescale in the bathroom are removed.
- If the walls will not be repainted, local marks on painted walls are wiped off.
- If years of dirt have not hardened, grout dirt is also covered by the cleaning.
- Here there is both the grease and dirt left from before and the mess from the renovation.
- The fine dust that settles inside cupboards, in window channels and on sockets is removed.
- Paint, mortar and silicone residues on floors and tiles are removed.
- Grease, mould and limescale in a kitchen and bathroom that were not renovated are cleaned as well.
- Paint and mortar residues on the glass are removed without scratching it.
- Protective film and labels on doors, window frames and cupboards are peeled off.
- Grout residues on bathroom and toilet tiles in particular must be removed with care.
- Construction dust on parquet in particular should be removed with the dry foam method and a vacuum machine.

What does the cleaning include?
We usually start with the windows and frames, carry on with the bathroom and kitchen in parallel, and finish with the doors and parquet, closing off the rooms one by one. The main tasks:
- Windows and frames
- Before the glass is wiped, any labels are peeled off and the frames are cleaned.
- Paint and mortar residues on the glass are removed with a fine glass scraper blade.
- Glass is cleaned with a strip washer and squeegee. The outside is cleaned without leaning out, using a telescopic pole, in line with occupational safety rules.
- Kitchen
- The insides of the kitchen cupboards, the doors and the tops of the cupboards, using a ladder, are cleaned, and the space under the kitchen worktop is washed and mopped.
- If the home has been lived in, the extractor hood, the oven and the grease around them are cleaned with degreaser and a steam machine.
- Bathroom and toilet
- Bathroom cabinets are cleaned inside and out, and the toilet, bathtub, shower cabin and jacuzzi are washed and polished.
- Bathrooms and toilets are cleaned of bacteria with acidic products.
- Tiled walls are washed and the dirt in the grout lines is removed.
- Walls, floors and balcony
- Dust on painted walls is taken off with a dry mop.
- Paint stains on the skirting boards are removed.
- The balcony floor, railings and balcony glass are cleaned.
- Floors are wiped. In renovated apartments the floors are cleaned by applying foam with a vacuum machine.
- Doors, parquet and hallways
- Doors, door handles and door frames are wiped.
- Lamps, sockets and the areas around switches are cleaned.
- Parquet and hallways are wiped last, closing off the rooms one by one.

Caution
- Switch off the fuse before wiping around sockets and light fittings with a damp cloth.
- Do not use glass blades on dry glass. Always use them on wet, foamed glass and at a flat angle.
- Do not use grout cleaners from DIY stores unless you know how, as they can wear away the grout.
- Do not lean out of high windows. Use a telescopic pole.

- To remove mould and stains trapped under silicone, the silicone has to be removed.
- Paint that has worked into the joints of wood-effect brown and anthracite PVC window frames cannot always be removed completely.
- Warn the decorators before paint is spilled on delicate materials. Cleaning paint off solid wood parquet, lacquered cupboards and black walls can be very difficult.

How many hours does empty apartment cleaning take?
A team of at least two people is sent for move-in apartment cleaning. Depending on the appointment, work usually starts around 09.00 and the empty apartment is usually finished the same day, around 16.00.
Who brings the supplies and equipment?
All the supplies and equipment needed for the cleaning are brought by our company and are included in the price.
Which machines are used?
A steam machine is used in the channels of window frames, on grease build-up in kitchen cupboards and inside radiators. When polishing grout, the solution is diluted with water so that the grout is not damaged.
When and how is payment made?
Payment is taken at the end of the job, once the customer satisfaction form has been filled in positively, in cash or by bank transfer.
Do you also clean furnished apartments?
We do not offer a day-cleaner service for furnished apartments. Empty apartment cleaning is done before the furniture is moved in.
Do I need to stay at home and watch over the team during the cleaning?
No, you do not need to be at home during the cleaning. You only need to come in the morning to open the door. You do need to come in the evening for the handover and inspection, and we call you in advance for this.
